Foodstuffs must be safe for human consumption and quality is therefore, extremely important. The same applies to compound feed. Food chains do, after all, start with animal feed. For this reason, Feed & Food Trading focuses much of its attention on the quality of the raw material and of the end product. And naturally, the production of raw materials for foodstuffs is strictly separate from the production of raw materials for animal feed and similar products.

We operate according to national and international quality and food safety guidelines and our products are extensively tested at appropriate laboratories. Our company undergoes a number of annual inspections performed by official inspection authorities.

Feed inspection authorities
Internal quality control
Our products and processes are not only monitored by inspection authorities. We also monitor these ourselves.
- In order to guarantee optimum quality and food safety, Feed & Food has an internal quality control department. Our Quality Assurance Manager is a specialist in the field of food safety and is responsible for all quality control performed on our products.
- As a rule, we analyse all new purchases before adding them to our stock. We inspect raw materials prior to packaging and perform quality checks on every outgoing order before it is delivered. To round off the process, we compare every delivery with the previous one.
- In order to ensure consistency, we often contract external consultants to perform quality checks, enabling Feed & Food Trading to provide consistent quality.
- The results of these internal and external inspections and analyses are tabled by Feed & Food Trading at a monthly quality consultation. In doing this, we constantly strive towards improvements.
